Terrorism/Violence in Society

Some-one has wisely said,

 “The hallmark of humanity is the wounds given by it.”

            Since, the evolution of the mankind, there has been a diversity of people. There is diversity in religions. Every religion has its own beliefs and traditional values. Due to this diversity, inter religious fights occur. Every religion wants to be on the top. Every nation in the world wants to be on the top. It has resulted into fights all over the globe.

            The word “Terrorism” is derived from “Terror” which means “horror”.

         Terrorism has become an international problem. It has become a great danger to both the developed and developing countries. Now, no-one is secure in this world. The danger of casualties has increased to a great extent. As, it is rightly said,

“Terrorism will spill over, if you don't speak up.”

          The question arises why terrorists involve themselves in terrorism? The answer is that the Talibaans of Afghanistan and some other countries started this problem. They want to take control of the world and they want to rule in this world on the principles of oppression, cruelty, mercilessness and ruthlessness.

         The other main causes of terrorism are inter-religion issues and sense of superiority over the other nations. These are two major groups in the world which are spreading terror all over the world. These groups are Al-Qaida and Daish. Al-Qaida is an institution. Talibaan is the part of  Al-Qaida. The other group is 'Daish'. They consider themselves as true Muslims. As, it is wisely said,

“There is no compulsion in the religion (Islam).”

         The word “Jihad” is greatly misused now-a-days. “Jihad” does not mean to kill innocent people in the world. Western world took the wrong meaning of “Jihad” and labeled the Muslims as terrorists. As, it is rightly said,

"Nothing is good or bad but thinking makes it so."

         Injustice, insecurity and cruelty become the reason of terrorism. When the courts of the world do not play their role properly and give justice innocent people. In this way, the people, who do not get justice become terrorists. Our Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ) said,

“Deviation of a nation from justice leads to doom and destruction.”

         In the modern age, terrorist groups have emerged which train people for the destructive activities. Now-a-days, the terrorist organizations are financially helped and aided by the secret services of the different governments. As, it is wisely said,

"Terrorism has no nationality."

            The hostile neighbours train terrorists and send them for the destructive activities. They create terror and alarm in the people and try to destabilize the government. They do not bother about the bloodshed of innocent people.

            Same is the problem in Pakistan. Terrorism is a major threat to the integrity of Pakistan. Terrorism includes bomb blast, hijacking and bloodshed of innocent people. Terrorists mercilessly butcher the innocent people. In the present era, terrorism is used as a weapon by the countries to weaken their enemies. But it should be noted that the so-called super powers of the world have been killing the innocent people of different countries just to satisfy their bloodshed thirst. As, it is wisely said,

“Terrorism is a significant threat to peace and security.”

          Terrorism has affected many countries. One of the worst in history is 9-11. Two planes hit the twin towers on 11 September and killed hundreds of people.

         Recently, terrorists have attacked the Army Public School in Peshawar and took the lives of many innocent children. As, it is rightly said,

"This was not an act of terrorism but it was an act of war."

        The solution for this problem of terrorism is the provision of justice at grass root level. We should also pray to God. We must prepare ourselves against our enemies. We had already lost our precious 50,000 citizens. It can be eradicated from the society by giving knowledge. We should help our government to end the terrorism. Allah has said,

"Allah does not show the right path to cruel people."
