Essay No. 14       ..  A Television  -- Like telephone and radio, television is a wonderful gift of science after the invention of electricity. It has the advantages of both radio and cinema. We can see pictures and listen to their conversations simultaneously. Today, television is an important means of entertainment and education. As it is wisely said, “Television is an invention that permits (enables) you to be entertained in your home by the people you wouldn't have in your home”.
