Summary of the poem Try Again, Unit 3 of 10th English by AG Ahmad

                     10 th English A, Unit 3 Summary for Normal Students Summary of “Try Again” William Edward Hickson was born on January 7, 1803. He was a British educational writer. He wrote an “improved” version of the British National Anthem. His beautiful and thought-provoking short poem “Try Again” was often quoted in 19 th century children’s literature. In this poem, the poet gives us a lesson that “Try again” to get success, because “Success lies under continuous hard working without losing hope”. The poet tells us not to lose hope when things go wrong. He advises us not to give up if we fail in our first attempt. He says, instead of giving up, we should try again. It is said, “ Never lose hope; if one door shuts down, God opens the other door”. The poet thinks that it is no disgrace in failing to reach our goal for the first time.
