Q. 1. What is the theme of the poem? (L.B. 2009) (FSB. 2009, 2011)

Ans. The poem emphasizes that everything happens at a certain time. Nothing can escape from the grip of time. Everything happens in this world according to a carefully planned schedule. Nothing occurs out of place. Nobody can interfere the natural cycle moved by the Creator.

Q. 2. What message does the verse from the Bible convey? (RWB. 2009)

Ans. It gives the message that everything happens according to a carefully planned schedule. Nobody can interfere the nature cycle moved by the Creator.

Q. 3. What do you understand by Ecclesiastes?

Ans. Ecclesiastes is a book of wisdom literature in canonical (religious relating clergy) Jewish and Christian scripture (the books of the Bible). We can find this name in the Bible table.

Q. 4. When does everything happen according to the Bible?

Ans. According to the Bible, everything happens at its proper time.

Q. 5. When should one pluck up?

Ans. One should pluck up at a proper time which is planted.

Q. 6. What is responsible for everything happen at a time?

Ans. There is a Supreme System running this universe. Nobody has the power or right to change it.

Q. 7. What is meant by “A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing”?

Ans..There is a time when it becomes necessary to bring the things closer and a time when closeness brings difficulties. It is better to stay apart.

Q. 8. What do you understand by “A time to keep, and a time to cast away”?

Ans. It means, we have to keep the things, sometimes because it is necessary. It becomes essential sometimes that we should throw them away.
