Love an Essence of All Religions
Q. 1. What do the thorns, roses, vinegar
and sweet wine resemble?
Ans. Thorns and vinegar resemble hardships of life. Roses and sweet
wine resemble the rewards offered by Allah Almighty.
Q. 2. Describe the reference of “the
stake becomes a throne”.
Ans. The poet describes that the fire could not touch Hazrat Ibrahim
(A.S) because he had true love of God in his heart.
Q. 3. What is the moral or theme of the
poem?
Ans. The poet teaches us that every problem can be solved through the magic
of love. Through love of life becomes a success.
Q. 4. Why does the poet put emphasis on
love? (GWB. 2011)
Ans. The poet puts emphasis on love because he calls it an essence of
all religions. He claims that love is a remedy for all diseases. Life becomes a
success by love.
Q. 5. What is the effect of love? (LB. 2015)
Ans. Love affects human heart and soul directly. It has magical powers
in it. It can transform everything. Love is a healer, softener, soother,
creator, generator and saviour.
Q. 6. Is life worth living without love?
Ans. Life is not worth living without love. This is essence of life.
If we omit love from life, it becomes drab (dull).
