Past Continuous Tense

Recognition in Urdu:       رہا  تھا،  رہی تھی،  رہے تھے،

Method of Making

Active: Subject + was, were + 4^th form + Object.

          They were learning English.

I, He, She, It and Singular noun-------- was

We, They, You and Plural noun ------ were

Method of Negative Making

Active: Subject + was, were + not + 4^th form + Object.

          They were not learning English.

Method of Interrogative Making

Active:  Was, Were + Subject + 4^th form + Object?

          Were they learning English?
