Present Perfect Tense

Recognition in Urdu:              چکا ہے، چکی ہے، چکے ہیں

                                لیا ہے، لی ہے، لئے ہیں،

                                گیا ہے، گئی ہے، گئے ہیں

Method of Making

Active: Subject + has, have + 3rd form + Object.

              They have won a match.

He, She, It and Singular noun -------- has

I, We, They, You and Plural noun ------ have

Method of Negative Making

Active: Subject + has, have + not + 3rd form + Object.

              They have not won a match.

Method of Interrogative Making

Active: Has, Have + Subject + 3rd form + Object?

              Have they won a match?

Simp: Alia has cooked biryani.

عالیہ بریانی پکا چکی ہے۔

Int: Has Alia cooked biryani?

Simp: We have taken tea.

ہم چائے پی چکے ہیں۔

Simp: I have taken breakfast.

میں  نے ناشتہ کر لیاہے۔

Simp: Ahmad has taken medicine.

احمد  نے دوائی پی لی ہے۔

Int: Has Ahmad taken medicine?

Simp: They have won ten matches.

انہوں  نے دس میچ جیت لئے ہیں۔

لڑکے  کالج چلے گئے ہیں۔

کتے  نے خرگوش کو پکڑ لیا ہے۔

Simp: They have accepted our invitation.

انہوں  نے ہماری دعوت قبول کر لی ہے۔

Simp: Gardener has watered the plants.

مالی نے پودوں کو پانی دیا ہے۔

Simp: Teacher has taught us English.

                                                                        استاد  ہمیں انگریزی پڑھ چکا ہے۔

Simp: This hen has laid an egg.

یہ مرغی ایک  انڈہ دے چکی  ہے۔

ہم ٹی وی دیکھ چکے ہیں۔

  3) Method of Imperative Sentences Recognition : - The reported speech of these sentences always starts with 1 st form of verb. These sentences show the sense of order, advice, request or forbidden (forbade) Changes:- i)           At the place of “said or said to” write ordered, advised, requested or forbade” according to the sense of the sentence. ii)        At the place of “commas” write “to”. iii)      Tense is not changed.
