Present Perfect Tense

Recognition in Urdu:       چکا ہے، چکی ہے، چکے ہیں،

                                      لیا ہے، لی ہے، لئے ہیں،    

                                      گیا ہے، گئی ہے، گئے ہیں،  

Method of Making/Changing into P.V

Active: Subject + has, have + 3rd form + Object.

              They have won a match.

Passive: Object + has, have + been + 3rd form + by + Subject.

             A match has been won by them.

He, She, It and Singular noun-------- has

I, We, They, You and Plural noun ------ have

Method of Negative Making

Active: Subject + has, have + not + 3rd form + Object.

               They have not won a match.

Passive: Object + has, have + not + been + 3rd form + by + Subject.

               A match has not been won by them.

Method of Interrogative Making

Active: Has, Have + Subject + 3rd form + Object?

            Have they won a match?

Passive: Has, Have + Object + been + 3rd form + by + Subject?

             Has a match been won by them?

Neg: They have not accepted our invitation.

by them.

Neg: Gardener has not watered the plants.

The plants have not been watered 

by gardener.

Neg: Ahmad has not taken medicine.

Medicine has not been taken

Interrogative sentences are of two kinds.

i.                   Single interrogative Sentences

Helping verb

Have they won a match?

Has she washed clothes?

ii.                Double Interrogative Sentences

What, where, when, why, which, who, whom, how, whose,

Act: Who has knocked at the door?

Pas: By whom has the door been knocked at?

 

Act: Who has cleaned the locality?

Pas: By whom has the locality been cleaned?
