Introduction of Active Voice and Passive Voice
Active Voice: Active voice means that a sentence has
a subject that acts upon its verb.
Active:
Subject + Helping verb + Form of verb
+ Object.
He is writing a
letter.
Passive Voice: Passive voice means that a subject is
recipient of a verb’s action.
Passive: Object
+ Helping verb + 3rd form
+ by + Subject.
A letter is being written by him.
