Introduction of Active Voice and Passive Voice

Active Voice: Active voice means that a sentence has

a subject that acts upon its verb.  

 Active: Subject + Helping verb + Form of verb + Object.

He is writing a letter.

Passive Voice: Passive voice means that a subject is

  recipient of a verb’s action.

Passive: Object + Helping verb + 3rd form + by + Subject.

A letter is being written by him.

 

Basic Three Changes

                             i. Object ----------------- Subject

                             ii. 3rd Form of Verb                    

                             iii. By + Objective case of pronoun

Change of Pronouns

Subjective ----------- Objective case

I ----------------------- by me

         We -------------------- by us   

You ------------------- by you

He --------------------- by him

She -------------------- by her

They ------------------ by them

It ---------------------- by it
