Q.1. What does the word “Persevere” mean?

Ans:- The word “persevere” means to persist steadily in an action or belief.

Q.2. If we strive, it is no disgrace, explain this sentence?

Ans:- It means that we should be persisted in striving because it is not a matter of shame

to try again and again .

Q.3. Why is the poet repeating the sentence “try again”?

Ans;-  The poet is repeating the sentence “try again” to emphasize the importance of

constant working and trying again.

Ans:-  The first stanza teaches us a lesson that we should keep on  trying patiently, courageously

and steadily without fear of failure, because we will definitely succeed soon.

Ans:-  We can come to know our weaknesses and short-comings from our failure and we can

become successful by over coming them.

Ans:-  Failure is not a disgrace if we keep on trying patiently, courageously and steadily by

learning a lesson from our failure

Ans:-  We should keep on trying patiently, courageously and steadily till our success, because

there is no limit of trying again.

Ans:-  Once, I wrote a novel which proved totally failure but I kept on trying patiently and

finally I got success by writing a good one.
