Q. 1:-   Guess the meaning of tutorial.

Ans:   The word “Tutorial” means a discussion on any topic between a teacher and a small

            group of students.

Q. 2:-   What is media and what type of information does it provide?

Ans:  Media including television, radio and newspaper is the most powerful mode of

communication, which provides news, information, knowledge and entertainment. 

Q. 3:-   Which is your favourite T. V programme? Why?

Ans:  The National Geographic is my favourite T.V programme, which gives  me information about many different animals, birds and insects.

Q. 1:-   What is the most important function that media performs?

Ans:  The most important function that media performs is the awareness about many social issues like corruption, terrorism, drug addiction and violation of human rights. 

Q. 2:-   What are the two major means of communication?

Ans:  The two major means of communication are electronic media and print media.

Q. 3:-   How does a media provide entrainment?

Ans:  Media provides us entertainment through cartoons, dramas, essays, novels, and interesting stories.

Q. 4:-   What happens when media is allowed to play its role unchecked?

Ans:   If media is allowed to play its role unchecked, it may spread false news against the government, which is very harmful for a stable government. 

Q. 5:-   Give three reasons in support of your favourite T.V. programme.

Ans:  The National Geographic is my favourite T.V programme, which gives  me information about many different animals, birds and insects.  It makes me realize how great Allah has created all these creatures.  It introduces me with different species of animals, birds and insects.

  3) Method of Imperative Sentences Recognition : - The reported speech of these sentences always starts with 1 st form of verb. These sentences show the sense of order, advice, request or forbidden (forbade) Changes:- i)           At the place of “said or said to” write ordered, advised, requested or forbade” according to the sense of the sentence. ii)        At the place of “commas” write “to”. iii)      Tense is not changed.
