(Paragraph No 16)

دودھ ایک مکمل غذا ہے۔ یہ میٹھا اور لذیذ ہوتا ہے۔ اس کا رنگ سفید ہوتا ہے۔ ہم زیادہ تر دودھ گائے اور بھینس سے حاصل کرتے ہیں۔ دودھ ہمیں صحت مند اور طاقتور بناتا ہے۔ ہم اس سے دہی ،مکھن اور پنیر بھی بناتے ہیں۔ بچوں اور مریضوں کےلئے دودھ بیش قیمت غذا ہے۔ دودھ کو ہمیشہ ابال کر استعمال کرنا چاہیے۔

English Translation

Milk is a perfect diet. It is sweet and delicious. Its colour is white. We get milk mostly from cow and buffalo. Milk makes us healthy and strong. We also make curd, butter and cheese from it. Milk is a valuable diet for children and patients. Milk must always be used after boiling.

شیر ایک طاقتور جانور ہے۔ یہ دیکھنے میں بہت خوف ناک نظر آتاہے۔ اسکی گردن پر لمبے لمبے بال ہوتے ہیں۔ یہ افریقہ اور ایشیا  کے جنگلوں میں پایا جاتا ہے۔ یہ غاروں میں رہتا ہے ۔ اسے جنگل کا بادشاہ کہتے ہیں۔ یہ انسان کا بڑا دشمن ہے۔ لیکن شکاری اس کے بچوں کو چرا لیتے ہیں۔ وہ ان کو سدھاتے اور سرکس میں ان سے کام لیتے ہیں۔

English Translation

The lion is a powerful animal. It looks very terrible (dangerous). It has a long mane. It is found in the jungles of Africa and Asia. It lives in caves. It is called the king of jungle. It is the worst enemy of man. But the hunters steal away its cubs. They train them and make them work in the circus.

(Paragraph No 18)

ایک نوجوان باغ میں بیٹھا تھا۔ وہ کچھ فکر مند تھا۔ کچھ دیر کےبعد ایک بوڑھا آدمی باغ میں داخل ہوا۔ اس نے نوجوان کو ایک خط دیا۔ نوجوان نے خط کھولا اور اسے پڑھا۔ وہ خط پڑھ کر بہت خوش ہوا۔ اس کے فکر مندی کے آثار غائب ہو گئے۔ اس نے بوڑھے آدمی کا شکر ادا کیا۔

English Translation

A young man was sitting in the garden. He was a bit worried. After sometime, an old man entered the garden. He gave a letter to the young man. He opened the letter and read it. He became very happy after reading the letter. The signs of his anxiety disappeared. He thanked the old man.

لاہور ایک پرانا اور تاریخی شہر ہے۔ یہ دریائے راوی کے کنارے پر واقع ہے۔ یہ صوبہ پنجاب کا دارلحکومت ہے۔ اس شہر میں بہت سی تاریخی عمارتیں ہیں۔ بادشاہی مسجد دنیا کی سب سے بری مسجدوں میں سے ایک ہے۔ شاہی مسجد کے پاس علامہ اقبالؒ کا  مزار ہے۔ اقبال نے ہم کو پاکستان کا تصور دیا تھا۔ قرار داد پاکستان لاہور ہی میں منظور کی گئی تھی۔ مینار پاکستان اسی قرار داد کی یاد میں تعمیر کیا گیا۔ یہ اقبال پارک میں تعمیر کیا گیا۔

English Translation

Lahore is an old and historical city. It is situated by the bank of Ravi. It is the capital of the province of Punjab. There are many historical buildings in this city. Badshahi Mosque is one of the biggest mosques in the world. The tomb of Allama Iqbal lies beside the Shahi Mosque. Iqbal gave us the idea of Pakistan. The Pakistan Resolution was passed in Lahore. Minar - e – Pakistan was built in the remembrance (commemoration) of that resolution. It was built in Iqbal Park.

(Paragraph No 20)

الہ دین چین کے شہر بیجنگ میں رہتا تھا۔ اس کا والد درزی کا کام کرتا تھا۔ وہ بہت محنتی شخص تھا۔ الہ دین ابھی چھوٹا ہی تھا کہ اس کے والد کا انتقال ہوگا۔ الہ دین اور اس کی والدہ نے بہت افلاس کی زندگی گزاری ۔ الہ دین بہت کاہل تھا۔ وہ تمام دن گلیوں میں کھیلتا اور کوئی کام نہیں کرتا تھا۔ البتہ وہ جسمانی طور پر مضبوط اور طاقتور تھا۔

English Translation

Aladdin lived in Beijing, a city in China. His father was a tailor. He was a very hardworking man. Aladdin was still quite young when his father died. Aladdin and his mother led their lives in utter poverty. Aladdin was very sluggish. He played in the streets all the day long and did nothing. However, he was physically strong and powerful.
