Subject:        Request for the Shortage of Water

Respected Sir,

                           Most respectfully, it is stated that I wish to bring to your kind notice that the residents of Iqbal Colony situated on the College Road, are facing the shortage of water in their colony. The scarcity (shortage) of water has resulted into great restlessness for the people of the colony. Most of the inhabitants are angry and worried at this miserable supply of water.

          They do not get enough water to clean their bodies and wash their clothes. Last morning,

they did not have sufficient water for Fajir prayer. It is a very hot and humid (sultry) weather. One

perspires severely in this scorching heat. It is very difficult to avoid bathing in this weather.

          Moreover, more water is required for drinking purpose also. It is unfortunate that water is supplied to the houses for a very short time. The water is supplied for one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening.

         The quality of water is also very doubtful. Mostly water is contaminated. The pressure of water is very low. It does not reach the tanks at the second storey. Water, you know is the basic necessity of life. One cannot live without it.

        You are requested to look into the matter and improve the supply of water. You or your staff may tour the colony to know about the situation at first hand.

         I shall be very thankful to you for this kindness.
