       Write an application to the Chairman of Municipal Corporation for requesting him to pay attention Defective Drainage System

Subject:        Request for Defective Drainage System

Respected Sir,

                           Most respectfully, it is stated that I would bring to your kind notice the extremely bad condition of the drainage system of my city. Our city is getting dirtier with the passage of time.

Here are a few facts for your consideration:

(i) The underground drains along the smaller roads or streets get choked every second or third

month and dirty water begins flowing out from the manholes.

(ii) The rainwater is not easily drained out of the roads with the result that roads get broken.

(iii)           The flooded roads become a great problem for the traffic. The clothes of cyclists and

Motor-cyclists get spoiled and their movement becomes risky (dangerous).

            It is suggested that the present drainage system may be cleaned thoroughly and repaired

completely. New drains should be dug wherever necessary.

            I hope, you will pay early attention and take quick steps for the improvement of the city

You or your staff may tour the streets of city to know about the situation at first hand.

          I shall be very thankful to you for this kindness.
