Subject:        Request for Bad Sanitary Condition of the Locality

Respected Sir,

                           Most respectfully, it is stated that I wish to bring to your kind notice the unsanitary condition of our locality. Our locality is getting dirtier with the passage of time. The heaps of rubbish at street corners are now bigger than ever before. Some of the underground drainpipes are often choked with the result that dirty water overflows on the roads.

         Foul smell and mosquitoes, caused by the rubbish and water, are a constant trouble for all the people here. It is strange that the sweepers are not to be found regularly on duty. They do not sweep all the streets even once a day.

         I would make the following suggestions for toning up the cleanliness of our locality:

(a) The staff should be asked to remove the rubbish heaps from the streets regularly.

(b) The drainpipes should be cleaned and the dirty water on the streets should be drained as soon as it collects.

(c) Sweepers should be made to clean the streets regularly.

(d) You or your staff may tour the streets of our locality to know about the situation at first hand.
