Respected Sir,

                      Most respectfully, it is stated that I am a student of intermediate/metric part I, in your college/school. My name has been struck off from the college/school roll because I have been absent for one month without any leave application.

         Actually, my father met a road accident in my native city and was admitted to a hospital. Therefore, I rushed to my native city on hearing this news. I was so much worried that I couldn't inform to the college/school about my absence. As, some-one has rightly said,

“An accident won’t arrive with a bell on its neck.”

        My father remained in the intensive care unit (ICU) for twenty days. Being the only son, I had all the responsibility to look after him in the hospital. It was a very tense and hectic time for my family and I could not take out any moment to submit my leave application. Now, my father is getting better. I have enclosed his medical reports.

As, some-one has rightly said,

“There is no such a thing as an accident, it is fate misnamed.”

         Sir, I am a serious minded student and have never been a cause of mischief or negligence in the past. I apologize for not informing you in time, but I hope that you would understand my situation. Therefore, I request you to re-admit my name in the college roll call. I shall be grateful to you for this kindness.
