15. Application to principal requesting him to accept your apologize for Unpunctuality/Irregularity of Classes/Absence of Classes, (9th/1st Year/BA/B. Sc) by AG Ahmad

Application No: 15

Write an application to the principal requesting him to accept your apologize for Unpunctuality/Irregularity of Classes/Absence of Classes.

The Principal,

Govt. College,

A. B. C. (City)

Subject:        Request for Irregularity/Absence of Classes

Respected Sir,

Most respectfully, it is stated that I am a student of intermediate/metric part I, in this college/school. I could not attend my classes last month in the second week. I could not send an application for leave because I had to go to Lahore all of a sudden. My brother had fallen ill. I stayed with him for a week. As it is rightly said,

“Health is wealth.”

I admit that, after my return, I did not attend college regularly. In fact, I was so much upset about the happenings at home that I could not concentrate on studies. Doctors had told my family that the disease of my brother was incurable. As it is rightly said,

“Health and good state of body are above all goods.”

Quite some time, after my return to the hostel, I came to know through a letter of my dear father that doctors had found a cure for brother's disease. This relaxed me greatly. Now, I am normally busy with my work in classes and outside. As it is rightly said,

“Hard work is the key to success.”

I am really sorry for going away without your permission. In future, I will take your permission whenever I have to be absent from college. I will also be more regular. I would request you not to fine me for this absence (or irregularity or unpunctuality) this time. I shall be very thankful to you for this kindness.

Yours obediently,

X. Y. Z.
