Letter No. 4.

Letter for Brilliant Students

Write a letter to your mother/father about the test you have just taken.

Examination Hall,

A. B. C. (City)

March 20, 2022.

 Dear Mother/father,

Asslam-o-Alaikum! I received your kind letter two days ago. I am very happy to learn that all of you are feeling well. You have asked me about my performance in the test. I am sorry that I did not write you earlier because I was working hard to prepare my test in English. As it is rightly said,

“Hard work is the key to success”

Dear Mother, you know that I wish to be a C. S. P. officer and serve the suffering humanity. I always believe in Thomas Paine saying:

“The world is my country, all mankind are brethren,

and to do good is my religion.

I have been working hard throughout the session. That’s why, with the grace of Allah Almighty, I have done my test well. It is wisely said,

“God helps those who help themselves.”

I am fully satisfied with it. The test was not difficult. I attempted almost all the questions and hope to get 1st class marks in it. As it is rightly said,

“He who has health has hope and he who has hope has everything.”

The test was a bit lengthy, so I had to cut short it to finish it within time. As it is wisely said,

“Time is money, spend it wisely.”

I could not revise the test and might have committed a few spelling mistakes but

“What is ended cannot be mended.”

I hope that you will be satisfied with my explanation. Please, pray for my brilliant success. As it is said,

“Success lies under continuous hard working without losing hope”.

Convey my regards to father and siblings.

With best wishes,

Yours affectionately,

X. Y. Z.

 Dear Mother/father,

Asslam-o-Alaikum! I received your letter two days ago. I am much pleased to read that all of you are feeling well. It is wisely said,

“Health is wealth”.

You have asked me about my performance in test. I thank you for your loving letter. I am sorry that I could not reply you earlier. As I was busy in preparing for my test in English. It was held yesterday. Mother, you know that I wish to be a doctor and serve the suffering humanity because I always believe in Thomas Paine’s saying:

“The world is my country, all mankind are brethren,

and to do good is my religion.”

With the grace of Allah Almighty, I have done my test very well. I am fully satisfied with it. The test was not. I attempted almost all the questions I hope to get 1st class marks in it.

However, the test was a bit lengthy. I could get only a few minutes for the last question. Therefore, I had to cut it short to finish it within time. I could not revise the test as well and might have committed a few spelling mistakes but,

“What is ended cannot be mended.”

I hope, that you will be satisfied with my explanation. Please, pray for my brilliant success and pay my regards to all at home.

 Your loving son,

   X. Y. Z.
