Write a letter to your friend/cousin/neighbour who is in hospital because of accident and injuries.

Examination Hall,

May 26, 2023.

          Dear Friend/cousin/neighbour,

Asslam-o-Alaikum! With great blessings of Allah Almighty, I am enjoying sound health and hope that the same case will be with you because,

“Health and good state of body are above all goods.”

But I am terribly pained to note that you have met with an accident and you are admitted in the hospital. Anwar told me that you had got serious injuries on the head and the right leg. This shocking news upset me to a great extent. Thank God that you received only minor cuts on the head and no bone of your body got fractured as it is well said,

“Miseries occur with strange bedfellows.”

My dear friend, I have advised you many times to drive your car or bike with great care in the squeezing traffic. Being your friend, I am well aware of the fact that sometimes you drive your motorbike in a zigzag way with your friends. Crowded and unrepaired roads of our country do not permit us to do so. As, some-one has rightly said,

“An accident won’t arrive with a bell on its neck.”

Furthermore, driving wildly and carelessly is the worst craze. Similarly, ignoring speed limits and violating traffic rules also causes accidents. Not to speak of driving rashly even it is difficult to save yourself from others' careless driving. We must learn traffic rules but, more important, we should observe them. Again, I advise you not to drive rashly because,

“Accidents can be occurred any time.”

These days, I am very busy in preparing my mid-term examination which is scheduled to be held from tomorrow. So, at this moment of time, it is not feasible for me to see you. However, I am very eager to visit you as my examination ends the next Friday. In the meantime, I may suggest you to take proper care of you and act upon your doctor's instructions thoroughly. As, some-one has rightly said,

“There is no such a thing as an accident, it is fate misnamed.”

May God recover you soon! Ameen

With best wishes,

Your loving friend/cousin/neighbour,

X. Y. Z.
