Dear Friend,
Asslam-o-Alaikum!
With great
blessings of Allah Almighty, I am enjoying sound health and hope that the same
case will be with you because,
“Health and good state of body are above all
goods.”
I am immensely shocked to know that you have failed in
your annual examination. I
know very well that your father's
business collapsed and you could not pay your college dues in time. You also had
to leave the academy. In this critical situation, you had to face many hurdles
with patience. As, it is wisely said,
“It requires more courage to suffer than to die.”
I can understand your problems. You were forced to do
a part time job after college hours. Thus you could not pay attention to your
studies. This critical condition turned a brilliant boy into a dull one. As,
some-one has wisely said,
“I was a brilliant student,
I always tried to be the best.”
In this state of affairs, it is not logical to expect
a good result from someone. My deep sympathies are with you and I am sure that
you will not lose heart and continue your struggle. As, it is wisely said,
“Where there is no struggle, there is not progress.”
Next time, you should appear in the examination with
full determination and perseverance. God’s willing, you will come off with
flying colours. As, it is rightly said,
“There is divinity that shapes our ends.”
In your last letter, you told me that your father has started
his business at a small scale. Now, you will pay full attention to your
studies. Always, keep this thing in your mind that this world is a strange
mixture of success and failure. As, some-one has wisely said,
“Failure always opens the
gateway to success.”
Pay
my regards to uncle and aunt and love to kids.
Your loving friend,
X. Y. Z.

Letter for Brilliant Students
Write a letter to your friend sympathizing with him on his failure in the examination.

Dear Friend,
Asslam-o-Alaikum!
With great
blessings of Allah Almighty, I am enjoying sound health and hope that the same
case will be with you because,
“Health and good state of body are above all
goods.”
I am immensely shocked to know that you have failed in
your annual examination. However, your failure is not an unexpected misery for
me as I am well aware of the adverse state of you family matter. I know that your
maternal uncle borrowed a huge amount of money from your father and did not return
it within the given period. As, some-one has wisely said,
“Money is honey, it’s my little sunny.
A rich man’s joke is always funny.”
Resultantly, your father's business collapsed and even
could not pay your college dues in time. You had to leave the academy that you
had joined to improve your English and Mathematics. And when your father made
repeated demands to your maternal uncle to return the money, he got your father
arrested in a crime and managed to send him jail. As, some-one has wisely said,
“In jail many people turn into violent,
No-one goes to right way.”
During these unfavourable circumstances, your sister's
nervous breakdown further increased your agony adding fuel to fire. My dear,
misery loves company. In this situation, extreme suffering of your family knew
no bounds. As, it is wisely said,
“It requires more courage to suffer than to die.”
I can understand your problems and pains which stopped
you to concentrate on your studies. You were forced to do a part time job after
college hours. Thus neither you could pay attention to your studies, nor you could
find time for this task. This critical condition turned a brilliant boy into a
dull one. As, some-one has wisely said,
“I was a brilliant student,
I always tried to be the best.”
There was good news in your last letter that your
father has been released from the jail and he started his business at a small
scale. I pray for your success and progress. Now you will get rid your part
time job and pay full attention to your studies. Always, keep this thing in your
mind that the world is not a bed of roses. Instead this world is a strange
mixture of joys and sorrows, success and failure. As, some-one has wisely said,
“Failure always opens the
gateway to success.”
Pay
my regards to uncle and aunt and love to kids.
Your loving friend,
X. Y. Z.
