20. Letter to friend/cousin/neighbour asking him to lend you a camera.

Examination Hall,

May 26, 2023.

          Dear Friend,

Asslam-o-Alaikum! With great blessings of Allah Almighty, I am enjoying sound health and hope that the same case will be with you because,

“Health is wealth.”

Our college is taking us to Murree for a trip. It was my dream to go to those places and enjoy the natural scenes. As it is rightly said,

“Murree is said to be the city of gardens, flowers and beautiful scenes.”

I want to have pictures of wonderful sights. None of us has a nice camera. My Digital Camera broke in mishap. Having no much money with me, I can not purchase an expensive camera. As it is rightly said,

“Money is honey, it’s my little sunny.

A rich man’s joke is always funny.”

I remember that you brought your new camera in your last visit and it produced excellent results. Would you please lend it to me for a week? As some-one has rightly said,

“A friend in need is a friend in deed.”

I shall be really grateful, if you lend me your camera for a week. I promise that I will return it as soon as we come back.

As you know well that pictures keep your memories fresh. As, it is rightly said,

“Memories made on mountains, stay in our heart forever.”

Pay my regards to uncle and aunt and love to kids.

Your loving friend,

X. Y. Z.

          Dear Father,

Asslam-o-Alaikum! With great blessings of Allah Almighty, I am enjoying sound health and hope that the same case will be with you because,

“Health is wealth.”

Our college is taking us to Murree for a trip and everybody is thrilled and preparing for it. The visit is intended to be of one week. It was my dream to go to those places and enjoy the natural scenes. As it is rightly said,

“Murree is said to be the city of gardens, flowers and beautiful scenes.”

Now, my father has given me his consent for this trip and I am going to  accomplish my cherished dream. As some-one has rightly said,

"In all things of nature, there is something of the marvelous."

I want to have pictures of wonderful sights. None of us has a nice camera. My friends brought two cameras but those are substandard. I need some elegant camera in conformity with the occasion. My Digital Camera broke, falling from my table, last month. Since living in the hostel, buying the best camera is difficult for me.

If you can lend it to me, please give it to my friend/neighbour, Mr. Rizwan because he is coming here to meet me next week. I promise that I will return it as soon as we come back. As you know well that pictures keep your memories fresh. As, it is rightly said,

“Memories made on mountains, stay in our heart forever.”

I will be really grateful for this generous favour. Pay my regards to uncle and aunt and love to kids.

Your loving friend,

X. Y. Z.
