May 26, 2023.

Dear Father,

Asslam-o-Alaikum! I am fine here and I hope, you will receive this letter in the best of health and spirit. As, it is wisely said,

“Health is wealth”

I received your letter two days ago but I was busy in my mid-term exams, so I couldn't write you earlier. You seemed quite concerned about my studies as my previous result was below 80%. The result of the mid-term exams has been announced and you will be delighted to know that I have got 88% marks in it. I owe this success to Allah's favour, your prayers and blessings and the proper guidance of my worthy teachers. As, it is wisely said,

“Success lies under continuous hard working without losing hope”.

For the final exams, I shall have to work hard ever more. I find difficulty in

Mathematics and I am planning to get private coaching in it. I didn't prepare myself well enough in Pak-studies and I am concentrating on it as well. Moreover, I am trying to improve my writing speed because at times, I cannot manage to complete the paper. As, some-one has wisely said,

"I never did anything worth doing by accident,

nor did any of my inventions come by accident,

they always come by hard work."

I want to assure you that I have recognized my failings and now trying my utmost to improve them. I have reduced my sleeping hours. As, some-one has wisely said,

"One cannot climb the ladder of

success with one's hands in pockets."

I know, your wishes and support are my strength and I will prove myself in my studies. Pay my compliments to all at home.

 Yours affectionately,

X.Y.Z.

Dear Father,

Asslam-o-Alaikum! I am fine and hope that you will receive this letter in the best of your health. I received your letter two days ago. I was busy in my Mid-Term Examination, so I could not write you earlier. It appears from your letter that you are quite anxious about my health and studies. As, it is wisely said,

“Health is wealth”

Unfortunately, my previous result was below 80% marks in the Mid-Term Examination. You will be delighted to know that I have got 88 % marks in the Mid Term Examination. I owe this success to Almighty Allah, your prayers and proper guidance of my worthy teachers. As, it is wisely said,

“Success lies under continuous hard working without losing hope”.

As far as my health is concerned, I had been feeling pain in my stomach for about 20 days. I consulted the college doctor. He advised me not to worry, as the problem was not serious. It was just caused by the fast food of bazar. I took medicine prescribed by the doctor and now I am quite fit. As, it is wisely said,

“He who has health, has hope and he who has hope, has everything”

Our inter-college tournament is going to start next month. I am preparing for it. I am feeling myself quite active. As you know, I am fond of playing cricket. I am the captain of my college team. I will manage gold medal for my college in this competition. As, it is wisely said,

"All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy."

Father, you need not to worry about my studies. I am certain that I shall have to work even harder for the final examination. I find difficulties in Mathematics and Pakistan studies. Therefore, I am planning to get private coaching for these.

Moreover, I am trying to improve my writing speed and presentation as well. I am working hard on daily basis to cover my all deficiencies. As, some-one has wisely said,

"I never did anything worth doing by accident,

nor did any of my inventions come by accident,

they always come by hard work."

I would like to assure you that I have identified my flaws. I am trying to cover my mistakes and weak areas. I have reduced my sleeping hours. As, some-one has wisely said,

"One cannot climb the ladder of

success with one's hands in pockets."

I am sure that your support and pieces of advice fortify me. I will further improve me studies. Pay compliments to all at home.

Yours affectionately,

X.Y. Z.
