Write a letter to your friend/cousin thanking him/her for hospitality during your visit to his/her house.

March 20, 2022.

Dear Friend/cousin,

Asslam-o-Alaikum! I am hale and hearty and hope the same for you.

I reached home, quite safe and sound. I had a comfortable journey. I was very glad to meet my parents, brother and sisters after two weeks. As it is rightly said,

“East or west, home is the best”

I miss you very much and I am writing this letter to thank you for your hospitality at your home in your village because some-one has rightly said for it.

“There are always flowers for those,

who want to see them.”

I enjoyed your company very much. We talked so much, laughed so much played and walked so much. It was a time full of excitement and happiness. It is rightly said,

“A joy that is shared becomes double”

I shall never forget the taste of Biryani that your mother cooked one day. I thank you for your hospitality.  As it is wisely said,

“Where hospitality is concerned, too much is not even enough”

I cannot forget the interesting stories that your parents told me about the heroes of Islam. They really made me feel it like my home. Please, convey my thanks to uncle and aunt for their love and kindness. As it is wisely said,

Kindness is the language which a deaf can hear

and a gift that a blind can see.”

With best wishes,

Yours affectionately,

X. Y. Z.

I must thank you for the nice time which I spent with you in your village. It was a time full of excitement and happiness. As, it is correctly said,    “A joy that is shared is a joy becomes double.”

“Where hospitality is concerned, too much is not even enough.”

But I really enjoyed your company very much. I cannot forget the interesting stories, which your parents told me about the heroes of Islam. They really made me feel it like my home.
