Letter No. 10.

Letter for Brilliant Students

Write a letter to your friend requesting him/her to lend some books.

Examination Hall,

A. B. C. (City)

March 20, 2022.

Dear Friend,

Asslam-o-Alaikum! With great blessings of Allah Almighty, I am enjoying sound health and hope that the same case will be with you because,

“Health is wealth”

I was greatly impressed by your performance in the quiz competition held in your school last week. For this, you worked hard and got success because,

“Hard work is the key to success”

Our school is also going to have a quiz competition next week. I intend to participate in this competition. You once mentioned in your letter about your collection of informative books. I want to borrow a few books from you. As it is rightly said,

“A friend in need is a friend in deed”

I need a book on Islamic history and culture because I also want to go through basic Islamic history.  As it is wisely said,

“Books add a lot to our knowledge.

They are our best friends.”

You know that I have been an Art’s student and have not much information about every day science. Therefore, send me a book based on everyday science.  As it is wisely said,

“Science is a wonderful thing,

if one does not have to earn one’s living at it.”

Please, send me the above mentioned books as soon as possible so that I can prepare myself for the competition because,

“Success lies under continuous hard working without losing hope”.

I promise to keep them with great care and will return you after the competition. I am anxiously waiting for your reply.

Pay my regards to aunt and uncle.

Yours affectionately,

X. Y. Z.
