A Sindhi Woman

Ans. When the poet saw the Sindhi Woman, he thought that only those persons are strong who can bear the hardships of life.

Ans. The main idea of the poem is to pay tribute to working women of Sindh in particular and ladies in general who bear the burden of life bravely.

Ans. The Karachi slums show a very gloomy picture of the area. Stones, heaps of garbage, waste matter and pieces of broken glass are scattered everywhere. The area has no proper system of sanitation and public health.

Ans. The Sindhi woman is passing through the bazaar.

Ans. She is barefoot.
