Drug Addiction

English Paragraph No 1

    Drug addiction is a common problem all over the world today. There are many forms of drug addiction, but the most dangerous of all is the absolute dependence on it. Long-term use of drugs causes permanent mental and physical sickness. Some kinds of drugs that cause disturbance of mind and body are heroin, marijuana, tobacco, valium, cocaine and alcohol.

نشے کی عادت پوری دنیا میں آج ایک عام مسئلہ ہے۔  نشے کی عادت  کی  بہت سی اقسام ہیں۔ لیکن ان میں سے سب سے زیادہ خطر ناک اس پر مکمل انحصار ہے۔  منشیات کا لمبے عر صے  تک استعمال  مستقل ذہنی  اور جسمانی  بیماری کی وجہ بنتا  ہے۔   منشیات کی کچھ اقسام جو ذہنی اور جسمانی بے چینی کی  وجہ   بنتی ہیں،  وہ ہیرو ئین، حشیش، تمباکو، بھنگ،  کو کین اور الکوحل ہیں۔

English Paragraph No 2

     Drug addiction is caused by environmental factors. A few important environmental factors that may cause drug addiction are bad peer influence and troubled domestic background. When young people remain in bad company and do experiments in the name of adventure, they may fall a prey to addiction. The people who are dissatisfied and discontented with their lives may also resort to drug addiction in order to seek an escape from responsibilities of life.

نشے کی عادت ماحولیاتی عوامل کی وجہ سےہوتی ہے۔  چند اہم ماحولیاتی عوامل جو نشے کی عادت کی وجہ بن  سکتے ہیں،   وہ  بُری صحبت کا اثر اور تکلیف دہ گھریلو پس منظر ہیں۔  جب نوجوان لوگ بُری صحبت میں رہتے ہیں اور مہم جوئی کے نام پر تجربات کرتے ہیں تو وہ  اس کی  عادت کا شکار ہو سکتے ہیں۔ وہ لوگ جو اپنی زندگیوں سے ناخوش اور  غیر مطمئن ہوتے ہیں،  وہ  زندگی  کی ذمہ داریوں سے فرار حاصل کرنے کی خاطر منشیات کی عادت  کا شکار ہو سکتے ہیں۔

      English Paragraph No 3

The most important measure to be taken in this regard is the rehabilitation and recovery of a drug addict. In many countries, including Pakistan, addicts, their families, and friends consider it a taboo to share their problem with others. They feel embarrassed to talk about it for fear of being declared an outcast. This not only makes the cure difficult but in most cases the addicts die due to lack of timely treatment and counseling.

سب سے اہم اقدام جو اس سلسلے  میں اُٹھایا جانا چاہیئے،   وہ نشے کے عادی فردکی بحالی اور صحت یابی ہے ۔  بشمول پاکستان،  بہت سے ممالک میں نشے کے عادی افراد، انکے خاندان اور دوست اپنے اس  مسئلے کے بارے میں دوسروں کو بتاتے ہوئے عجیب  سمجھتے  ہیں۔ وہ قطع تعلق کئے جانے کےخوف سے اس کے متعلق  بات کرتے ہوئے شرمندگی محسوس کرتے ہیں۔ یہ نہ صرف  علاج کو مشکل بنادیتا ہے،  بلکہ بہت سے معاملات   میں نشے کے عادی افراد،  بروقت علاج  اور  مشاورت کی کمی کی وجہ سے مر جاتے ہیں۔

English Paragraph No 4

Rehabilitation centers are the best places for the control and recovery process. These centers look after them. Complete medical support and guidance is provided to these people in these centers. Drug abusers, therefore, must be taken to proper and certified rehabilitation centers where proper treatment and cure is available for them. However, this involves rapid identification of the problem of drug addiction and total cooperation of the victims with the team of these centers.

بحالی کے مراکز  قابو پانے اور صحت یابی کے عمل  کے لیے بہترین جگہیں  ہیں۔  ان مراکز میں ان لوگوں کو مکمل طبی امداد اور رہنمائی فراہم کی جاتی ہے۔اس لیے نشے کے عادی افراد کو مناسب اور منظور شدہ بحالی صحت کے مراکزمیں لے جانا چاہیے۔ جہاں پر ان کے لئے مناسب علاج اور دیکھ بھال میسر ہوتی ہے ۔ تاہم اس میں نشے کی عادت کے مسئلے کی جلدی  پہچان اور نشے کے عادی افراد  کا ان مراکز کی ٹیموں کے ساتھ مکمل تعاون شامل ہوتا ہے۔

English Paragraph No 5

        The other factor that contributes in rehabilitation of the drug victim is proper counselling. The sooner it is done the better it is for the victim. The counselling process must continue even after the drug abuser is rehabilitated because of the dangers of a relapse. Doctors, family and friends must continue to critically watch and counsel the victim for better motivation and adjustment.

دوسرا  جُز  جو  نشے کے عادی  فرد کی بحالی میں شامل ہوتا ہے، وہ مناسب مشاورت   ہے ۔جتنی جلدی  مشاورت کی جاتی ہے، یہ  اُتنا ہی نشے کے  عادی فرد کے لئے  بہتر ہوتا ہے۔ نشے کے عادی  فرد کی بحالی کے بعد اس کے دوبارہ عادی ہونے کے خطرے کی وجہ سے مشاورت کے عمل کو جاری رکھا جانا  چاہئے۔ ڈاکڑوں،  خاندان اور دوستوں کو نشے کے عادی  فرد کی  بہتر تحریک اور بحالی کے لئے  اس پر کڑی  نظر رکھنی  اور مشاورت کو جاری رکھنا چاہیے۔ 

         English Paragraph No 6

Drug addiction is really a very serious threat to any society. In Pakistan alone, there are almost five million drug addicts. Addicts undergo numerous economic, social and health problems. The governments all over the world have been trying to eliminate drug addiction from society but still more efforts are needed to completely wipe it out. This can only be made possible if the people become increasingly aware of the threats that drugs pose. They should vow to live a healthy and meaningful life.

نشے کی عادت  حقیقت میں کسی بھی معاشرے کے لیے ایک سنگین خطرہ ہے۔ صرف پاکستان میں ہی  پچاس  لاکھ نشے کے عادی  افراد  پائے جاتے ہیں ۔ نشے کے عادی افراد  کو  بے شمار معاشی ،معاشرتی اور صحت کے مسائل  کا سامنا کرنا پڑتا ہے۔ دنیا کی تمام حکومتیں معاشرے سے نشے کی عادت کا  خاتمہ  کرنے کی   کوشش کر رہی ہیں۔ مگر ابھی بھی اس کا مکمل طور پر  صفایا کرنے کے لیے مزید کوششوں کی ضرورت ہے۔ یہ صرف اُسی وقت  ممکن ہو گا،  اگر  زیادہ سے زیادہ لوگ منشیات کے خطرات سے آگاہ ہوں گے۔ انھیں صحت مند اور با مقصد زندگی گزارنے کا پختہ ارادہ کرنا چاہئے۔
